The research deals with the phenomenon of intertextuality and its functioning in polycode text as exemplified in the Marvel cinematic universe comic book movies «Deadpool» and «Deadpool 2». The purpose of the research is to analyze the sources of intertextual inclusions, among which there are comic books, cinema, actors, the film crew and comic book writers, celebrities, religion, literature, music, realities.
