Difficulties in translation of professional texts on physics from English into Russian

The relevance of the investigated problem is caused by the dynamic advancement of science and techniques, need of publications of scientific works and technical documentation in English. At the same time there are difficulties in translation of scientific and technical texts. This article is focused on identifying grammatical structures in professional articles that are difficult to translate. The leading approach to the research of this problem is the analysis of grammatical phenomena in the English language. The main result of the research is the identification of possible mistakes in translation of grammatical structures and developed recommendations for their translation.The materials of the article may be useful for English teachers in the professional field, Physics students and translators involved in translating scientific and technical literature.
