Abstract

Tazi Gizzat is recognized as a classic of Tatar literature. His numerous works of art had a noticeable impact on Tatar culture. For many years, along with Naki Isanbet, Riza Ishmurat, Ahmet Faizi, he determined the development of Tatar dramaturgy. Tazi Ghizzat enriched the national theater with new themes, genres, and artistic techniques. T. Gizzat knew well the psychology and life of the Tatars. He skillfully included in his works pictures from village life, ethnography, customs, rituals, created a national environment. He also showed strong human feelings that evoked a hot emotional response from the audience. He wove lyrical and musical moments into the fabric of his works. Actively used rude folk humor. The artistic language of Tazi Gizzat - clear, clear, intelligible was understandable to the audience. This was the reason for the wide popularity of his works. Tazi Gizzat's plays, written in Soviet times and marked by the bright stamp of Soviet ideology, are still in demand today. They still go on the stage and arouse keen interest of the audience. This testifies to their enduring artistic value. The article discusses the main stages of the playwright's activity, the themes and artistic features of his works, their stage life.
