Socio-cultural aspect of foreign language teaching

Abstract

The article considers the role of the socio-cultural component in the structure of foreign language communicative competence and intercultural competence in teaching a foreign language. An overview of approaches in teaching the socio-cultural component and the criteria for its integration into the educational process are given.
