Implementation of the concept of massive open on-line education at university by means of the virtual learning system moodle

Abstract

The topicality of the study is due to creation of the digital educational environment in Russia and need to revise the curricula of universities in favor of innovation and online-learning. Analysis of the ways of integration of massive open online courses (MOOC) into educational process has been provided, conditions for further implementation have been defined, problematic aspects of the project have been identified and optimal solutions have been proposed. The conclusion is made about the potential of the LMS MOODLE for effective implementation of the MOOC concept.
