The role of a systems approach in determining functions of phrasemes

The analysis of objective functions of phraseology plays an important role in defining of its essence. This can be achieved by application of a systems approach to the study of this phenomenon. The author uses structural-functional method for the analysis of language as a tool for linguistic interaction of people, which is one of the cardinal principles of a systems study. A new appraisive-regulating paradigm of study of functional distinctness of phrasemes is suggested in this article.
